About Me
On July 25th, 1966 I queued at a.m.,with my Dad, on the steps at Stratford, to get a precious ticket to the gods, seat B26, to see Hamlet. I was already an admirer of D.W.'s work thanks to the Wars ... on BBC and I was destined to study English at uni. But DW's interpretation and performance that evening made up my mind. I have since seen Courtenay, Rylance, McKellen, numerous TV & movie Hamlets and a few Glasgow Citz versions but the only one to come near is the Tennant version and to see the two Davids discussion the character has made my day ... and my new desktop image!
