Hi Isabelle! I know that I can buy that on Amazon. But in Germany it isn´t out yet. Maybe the next months. I hope so!!!!!  BTW, it´s a good chance to take a look at Amazon again. Who knows.......;)

Why do you say you can't buy it on Amazon UK ? I live in France and buy things like CDs , DVDs and books on amazon uk, as well as Amazon usa ...AND Germany BTW . Poor Visa card : (

For any one in the U.K you can watch Albert's Memorial below on the following link from ITV1 Player the catch up service from the the channel that broadcast the film, it will be online for 18 more days, if it doesn't work for those outside the U.K I guess you will have to wait for the DVD!

Hi Isabelle! It´s clear to me that it works everywhere to buy a DVD on Amazon.uk or whatever. But I prefer to pay via transfer and not Visa. I´m really careful with that. Had some trouble with it.  I live in Bavaria (Bayern). Ich glaube, du verstehst ein bisschen Deutsch oder? Du hast ja auch "Bis bald" geschrieben. Vielleicht kommt die DVD ja auch bald in Deutschland raus bei Amazon. Dann ist es ja ganz einfach, sie zu bekommen. So lange kann ich auch noch warten.

ja, Deutsch verstehe ich ... especially with a lovely bavarian accent , as I've been spending my holidays in Austria for several years ( Wien und Salzburg ) . Where I live , in Lorraine , almost everybody speak German ( or dialect actually and they think it's Deutsch !!!)  and I've learned it at school ...

But between 1984 and 2004 I went to England very very often, so was my German lost ...jetzt schreibe ich nicht mehr gut Deutsch , wie schade ! Yet I love this language and do my best to speak a little when I do my shopping in Saarland , not to mention my stays in Vienna .

As for Amazon, I understand your point of view .BTW 'tis pity we cannot pay with Paypal . I hope you'll soon be able to get the film in Germany ? The critics were not that good unfortunately but this didn't stop me . As a great Donald Pleasence fan, I've seen the better and the worse ...because he was in ; ) .... so with Warner too I'll be able to enjoy his performance even if the movie is not a masterpiece !

I forgot : Warner was in Hornblower recently, that was very good, and not only because he was fantastic . Have you seen it ? I now hope he'll get back on stage someday ...

Hi everybody! A wonderful Sunday to you! For anyone, who doesn´t realized it yet, at Amazon.uk you can watch a short trailer below the DVD offering(Albert´s Memorial)!!!! Very funny!!!! The flying coffin!!!! Hahahaha!  

Cannot wait to get the DVD!!!!!!!! *sigh*

Oh, I'm in America and I found out that I couldnt watch it because I'm outside the UK. However, if you change your IP Address, you can watch it, so then the site wont know where you are. Its a bit complicated, but I downloaded a trial thingy called UK Telly and I was able to watch it!!!

It was great, by the way, he put on a wonderful performance. I HAD to watch it. I couldn't wait!

Count me in the category of "I have to watch it - now ."  But when I don't know there's a way to do so, I'm kind of stuck.   Thanks, Moon!  I'll try that!  I didn't know we could do that. I'd still like to have my own copy, though.

I bought it off of Amazon!    I sprang for the shipping that allows me to get it on the release date (Oct. 26th).
